Watching The 4400

Due to all of my recent audio files from Dragoncon, and chatting with Shaun on Monday (I’ll also be on his show talking Jericho tonight), I was thinking about podcasts that center on the 4400.

One of the shows on BlogTalkRadio that I’ve heard about from Shaun before is Bionic Angels, who have been discussing the 4400, along with all kinds of other shows that I would have loved to have been able to see the panels at Dragoncon that went on.

If you’re looking for more “Official” news via audio (I won’t call it a true podcast, since I can’t find a feed for the show), USA Network has The 4400 Podcasts available on the Official Site.

A quick search via iTunes also brings up the Lipstick Aliens, who I’ve listened to before for some of their other sci-fi talks, but not a lot else that is specifically talking about the 4400. Do you have any recommendations to help get me through the work-day and giving me ideas for posts?

daemonstv.com has some pictures from the 4400 Panel at Comic Con this past weekend, which makes me sad that I live on the East Coast, because I couldn’t go the convention. It looks like the panel was a lot of fun, and I hope that the conversation was as interesting as it looks from the photos and the reports such as the 4400 Guide has up on their site.

the TV Addict has an absolutely wonderful interview with Conchita Campbell, who of course plays Maia Skouris on the show. In the interview, you’ll not only get some great insight as to how intense the young Ms. Campbell is when it comes to acting, but also some really great dirt on the coming season and in particular the last episode, which they recently shot, which is why I think it’s at the top of the mind. They talk with her about the most recent episode, The Truth and Nothing But the Truth, and Maia’s reactions to April coming back.

We just saw the episode - wasn’t a big episode for your character, you were in a couple scenes, finding out that April was back. What can we expect from Maia as the season progresses?
You know what, from Maia, is learning how to use her ability better. She is learning how to, the way she sees it, when to say it at the right time, and to use it to her advantage. Maia is becoming smarter. Maia’s becoming more of a grownup but still that little sweet girl. You’ll be seeing more from Maia.

As Pink Raygun is posting, USA Networks wants everyone to know that Promicin is NOT a real substance.

The USA Network wants you to know that Promicin is NOT a real substance. It won’t get you high. It’s non-addictive. It’s not a gateway drug to Spice or Tek or Dust or Soma or any other drug that doesn’t exist. Seriously, there’s a public notice posted on their website reading: Please be aware that Promicin is NOT a real substance.

You know, maybe I’ve just got too much over-estimation in human beings, but do we REALLY need that disclaimer?

Chris Morris of PromicinDance.com was at it again this past weekend in Chicago, having a blast at Chicago’s Promicin Event on June 2, 2007.

Well, we are excited to report that the first live event in NYC was a blast. Chris Morris got people dancing in Union Square and Washington Square Park like nobody’s business. Shockadelica has posted that her story about a new Promicin ability over at PromicinInfo.com’s section on Abilities.

Well USA was calling for submissions of “your story”. They were choosing a certain amount of stories to be published on the website (which is actually set up as if it is a normal guys site, not the USA site). If they choose your story for the site there is a possibility it will be used on the show as well.

Guess whose story got published?

YES! ME!!!! I am so freakin pumped up right now. I think I got too excited because now my head is pounding, probably due to too much heart racing and literal girlie “squee”s.
